Guys...I totally missed posting this a few days ago. Thoughts I did but I didn't.
Congrats to Emma Hart on her newest and it's a fun read! See my thoughts below.

What it's about:

1.Hate-screw my high school nemesis.
  2.Remember to hate him.
3.Prove my brother wrong. It should be easy. It isn’t.
As the owner of Pick-A-Dick, New Orleans’ premier hook-up website, my job is simple. Connect two people for a no-strings, no-expectations hook-up. The plus for my clients is that I’m the one who gets to sift through the dick pics—except this time, they're required. My problem? My brother, co-owner of Pick-A-Dick’s sister dating site, doesn’t believe it’s possible to hook up with someone three times and not fall in love. I disagree. I know it’s possible. And my disagreement is exactly how I end up reconnected with my high school nemesis, Elliott Sloane. The guy who asked me to junior prom and then stood me up. Who egged my car when I rejected him, and convinced my senior homecoming date to ghost me. It should be easy to hate-screw him. If only he was still that person, instead of a hot-as-hell single dad, working as a builder to make ends’ meet, fighting for custody of his daughter. Not to mention packing in the pants department...   Three hook-ups. One outcome. Right?

What a fun enemies to lovers romance. Emma Hart delivers! Loved this couple. Peyton Austin bets her brother she can do a friend-with-benefits relationship with someone and not fall in love. She choses Elliot Sloane, her high school crush years ago, and nemesis who’s now a hot single daddy. The plan: sleep with him three times before moving on, feelings not allowed.  Uh, yeah, as if that’s going to happen.

This book...the snark, the’s hilarious with a feel-good ending and heavy feels in the middle.  Couldn’t put it down once started.
Yep, you should pick it up.
By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies—usually wine—and writes books. Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love. She likes to be busy—unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

So happy to share this new release today! My thoughts are below.

I don’t know what love is anymore. Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark. You know the kind of spark I’m talking about? Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark. Except I haven't felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem--but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right? That's how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase. It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That will be a breeze. I'm a pro. I can handle this. Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I'm doing taking a shower in his bathroom. I don't think calling it research will get me out of this pickle.

MY THOUGHTS: This is a sexy, funny and awesome read. Rylee and Beck are a great couple. I think Rylee’s saucy mouth is one of my favorite characters ever. Loved this. Laughed out loud so hard I was crying and if that doesn’t say this is a great book, then I don’t know what does. However, there’s a crap ton of language and it clearly meets all rated R expectations. So, if you’re not up for being bonked over the head with sex and the f-bomb, then this isn’t the book for you. But if you want some kick-A funny characters and dialogue, then this better be your next weekend read, or this weekend or even tonight. You won’t regret picking this one up.
5 stars...totally!!

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped. Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking. Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

New Release Alert: Gentleman Nine

Amazon | iBooks | Amazon Paperback | Nook | Kobo | AUDIO Amazon | Audible

F      Growing up, the three of us were friends. He was the nerd. I was the playboy. She was the beauty.   Deep down, I only ever wanted her. I kept it inside because Rory and I made a pact that our friend, Amber, was off-limits. He lied.   I went off to college, and he got the girl. Amber never knew how I felt. They were together for years—before he broke her heart.   Through it all and across the miles, she and I casually stayed in touch. When my job sent me to Boston for a three-month contract position, Amber let me stay in her spare room.   Still reeling from her breakup, she’d sworn off men. One night, I opened her computer to find the shock of my life. She’d hesitantly contacted a male escort company. Afraid to date and get her heart broken again, she was looking for sex with no strings. Every emotion imaginable ran through me: protectiveness, jealousy—curiosity. Amber had chosen Gentleman Number Nine and sent him a message. She opened up to him, confessing, among other things, her physical attraction to her friend— me. But she considered me off-limits—and she thought I was a manwhore. (Ironic, considering the circumstances.) Eventually, she set up a date to meet Gentleman Nine at a hotel. When she showed up several nights later to meet him, she got the surprise of her life to see me standing there—with an offer I hoped she wouldn’t refuse.

I recieved this as an ARC and because I’m all for damaged bad-boys who are tattoo artists, I was all in. Some of my fav authors write these characters, but I had a hard time connecting with the characters in this story. Maybe it’s because it’s written first person from the hero’s POV, which is interesting but not the norm for the genre. It didn’t always feel true to the inner workings of a male mind. Still, the dialogue is perky and fun and it has a smooth style to the internal dialogue of the hero that keeps the story rocking along.

Our hero, Luca, had his heart obliterated in the past and isn’t in a rush to have it happen again, which makes him closed off but not impervious to a new relationship. He meets Kelly, an events planner, and they have a hot one-night, although once might not be enough to get each other out of their systems. Somehow, I felt that the initial physical interactions of the H/h didn’t make sense, but these characters do steam the pages.
I didn’t read the first in the series. I’d recommend doing so as it might help with background for this installment in the series.

I've got a review for you and so happy to spotlight this phenom book today. THIS was truly a great read you shouldn't miss.

 Road to Eugenica:

Two dimensions - And the girl who connects them. Yesterday, Drea Smith couldn’t do anything spectacular—even walking and texting at the same time was a challenge. But today, she suddenly has more answers than Google, can speak and understand numerous languages, and she can fight. Like a boss. Super freaky. Drea has no idea where her encyclopedic knowledge has come from, but she’ll take it when she discovers someone out there knows her secret and wants her badly. And that they’ve been searching for her since she was born. Since she was created. With the help of her best friend Dylan, who just wants to keep her safe, and Maddox, a mysterious new boy who is prepared to get her answers, Drea will have to push her new skills to their limit as she uncovers nothing is quite what it seems. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a read this much in a long time. The author hooks you right away and sucks you into the story. Could not stop reading this once I started. This is a young adult romance with relatable characters. Our heroine, Alexandrea (“Drea”) goes from being an average, clumsy kid to a girl able to absorb knowledge by skim reading and insta-understanding of languages almost overnight. This is only the start of the weirdness for her, though. Her love interest is torn between two boys. We have her longtime best friend, Dylan and the new boy in school, Maddox, for whom there’s a hot chemistry. There are quite a few plot twists and romance before we hit the end. What a ride!

Totally recommend this one if you’re in need of a great read.

A.M. Rose is the author of Road to Eugenica, and writer of young adult novels of all genres as long as they have a hint of romance, the drinker of too much coffee (with way too much coconut creamer), and lover of all carbohydrates. Currently, she lives in Houston, TX with her three boys (yes, her husband is in that count) and three cats. When she isn’t writing about swoony boys or ways for her MC to get into trouble, she is an avid reader, critiquer, (is that even a word?) and trampoline enthusiast. A.M. Rose is a graduate from San Diego State University with a BA in Communication and a minor in underwater basket weaving. (Okay, maybe not the basket weaving part.)
